                                                                                               WAY TO GO DOGS!
The "Bulldogs" are on a roll with another win, 42-25, had 318 rushing yards in the game.  The Bulldogs’ stand firm on what it takes to win a game:  Stop the running game. • Impose their will on their defensive front by pounding it with a great running attack.  • Don’t give up the big play.

Coach Kenny Ferro said something several years ago, if something is working, you run it until they stop it. The Bulldogs did just that.

Kilgore has a very good offensive line — Darrion Sammons, Nolan Grush, Austin Clark, Clay Wiley, Gabriel Gough, Blake Guthrie, and then tight end Jarod Wood, blocking back Jack Johnston. Those guys give no quarter, and they block until they hear the whistle.

Combine that with the fact that everybody in Kilgore’s backfield is a threat, and you’ve got one heck of a stout running game. Seriously — Kilgore can throw the ball, but if you’re winning, and you’re controlling the line of scrimmage, it’s not always necessary.

When it is, Colbert and Xavier Gaona are both capable of getting the job done. Ask any of the cornerbacks Kilgore has faced this year how often they’d like to line up against Aaron Foy, Joseph Shepherd, Nick Orange and Jarod Wood.
